Permission comes first

Only download material you are entitled to save. A video being publicly viewable does not mean it is licensed for downloading, reuse or distribution. Check the owner’s permission, the relevant license and the source platform’s terms before proceeding.

Your copy does not change ownership

The tool changes a file’s format; it does not grant rights to its images, music, recordings or other content. You remain responsible for how you obtain and use a copy. Do not use this service to circumvent restrictions or infringe another person’s rights.

Include the following information to help identify the concern. Do not post private contact details in public comments.

• The work you own or are authorized to represent.
• The exact source URL and any relevant page or task reference, with a description of the concern.
• Your contact details, the basis of your authority and an accurate account of the issue.

Content hosted elsewhere

This tool cannot remove the original video from YouTube. Concerns about an original upload should also be directed to the platform hosting it through that platform’s reporting process. Temporary handling of a file does not eliminate the need for permission.
